Welker - Condimat Conditioners

UNIPHASE – The standard conditioner |
MULTIPHASE – The World Class conditioner |
| The UNIPHASE systems are the heavy duty and high performance
standard conditioners for yarn conditioning at temperature levels
between 50 – 95°C. The gentle treatment of the yarn enhances smooth
processes for waxed yarns up to 65° C. The simple but robust design
provides good saturation inside the autoclave and excellent conditioning
results. The fully automatic hydraulic door system enhances safe and
efficient operation. |
The MULTIPHASE type incorporates the world class technology of
WELKER with excellent energy saving and high moisture gain. The
cycle times are optimised at max. 45 minutes with one vacuum cycle,
thus reducing process- and energy costs by up to 50% compared to
conventional conditioners and steamers. The FINISHING WATER
SPRAY and AUTO-CLEAN function are standard in this machine. The
temperature range is increased up to 105°C. |

| Lengths/
Diameters | Production in Kg/ Batch |
1,400 mm | 1,800 mm | 2,000 mm |
| 2,000 mm | 250 | 300 | 900 |
| 3,000 mm | 375 | 600 | 1,100 |

| 6,000 mm | | 1,500 | 1,700 |
| 7,000 mm | | 1,800 | 1,900 |
The above chart indicates some production performances in kg/ hour for
the most popular formats.
The real production of a machine is determined by the package type,
package weight and the type of carrier. Therefore, the machine
production can vary substantially from one case to the other.

OPTIONAL MULTIPHASE PROCESS
HIGH VACUUM means deep penetration of saturated steam into yarn
packages for optimal moisture regain. In a clean autoclave, the vacuum
system cares for HIGH VACUUM of up to 95%.
The ECO- SYSTEM water heater is placed outside the autoclave for
safety reasons and better energy and temperature control. At the end of
the process, the FINISHING SPRAY adds additional moisture to the
yarn. This system is an exclusive device of WELKER and increases the
moisturising effect by application of a fine saturated water spray at the
end of each cycle.
As final step, the AUTO- CLEAN device takes all the condensed water,
residual fibres and dust out of the autoclave. The machine is ready for
the next process with a completely clean autoclave.
HIGH VACUUM
The vacuum system can be programmed for one or more vacuum cycles, according to plant needs and the specific process.
INTELLIGENT CONTROL
All WELKER systems are equipped with overheating protection systems
and fully automatic DOSITRON 18 programmable SPC control with
digital data logger and visualisation of both process and production
status.
The touch- screen based IPS – Intelligent Programming System helps
the operator to programme the machine and continuously informs the
actual status of production. The data can be transferred to a PC via a
flash card.
AUTODOFFER
The standard platform C is designed for manual loading with pin trucks
or half pallets. An automatic AUTODOFFER for pin trucks, pallets or
boxes is the most common form of automation. Other solutions with
roller conveyors (System RT) or the double door tunnel type (System
RTT) are available. On request, we are pleased to offer the complete
PACKTRACK line comprising conveyor, scale and stretch- wrapping
machines.
STEEL TYPES
STANDARD is a H II steel vacuum vessel with WELKODUR coating
and a conditioning chamber made of stainless steel, which is
preferred because of the price/ performance ratio. INOX is a vacuum
vessel entirely made of stainless steel, without a separate conditioning
chamber.
